David weightman, PE
David A. Weightman, PE graduated from West Virginia University College of Engineering with a BSCE in 1974 and received his PE in 1979. He went on to work for large engineering and construction firms designing steel mills, power plants, and pharmaceutical facilities. In 2002, David started Downingtown Engineering Consultants, Inc. DEC provided structural engineering services to Bethlehem Steel, Gerdau Steel, Covanta Energy, Amtrak, and SEPTA among others. In 2013, DEC started providing structural engineering services to residential customers. David retired from large industrial projects in 2018 and DEC became a HomeAdvisor Pro focusing exclusively on residential projects.

Mary Anne Weightman is Director of Operations for Downingtown Engineering Consultants, Inc. She has worked for DEC since 2005. She graduated from Immaculata University with a degree in Business and Human Resources
